My faithfulness ;-)

I simply could not resist these pretty little vintage hankies, along with a little china brooch and a lovely old violets postcard.

I found them here, in Kim's lovely Etsy shop:

And they arrived through my letter box, today.

What gorgeousness!!

  2. This is such a lovely post today Sal (as always). I think I have a bit of a thing about violets, violas, pansies.

By the way Mr Funky was quite hurt that you thought it was a shame that Mr Depp didn't turn up! Mr Funky did a a good job actually. It's just a shame about that pirate outfit.

  4. Such pretty hankies ... and not only beautiful, but useful, too! I confess to liking gentlemen's hankies, they're larger and much more useful ... handy (if you'll pardon the pun) to dry your hands on in a public loo when the dryer takes such an age to work!
I once listened to the lovely writer Sybil Marshall on Desert Island Discs. She said that she always went to sleep with a clean white hankie in her hand.

  7. I do love those old violet postcards, I often look out for them on e-bay. I noticed the violets in the garden are starting to come into bud too. x

  8. I have a lovely set of vintage hankies, and I think that's lovely to team a hankie with a brooch and card.
