oh this is nostalgic for me. we had decs just like the santa in the wire circle and they were my favourite....sadly don't think my mum have saved them though. How lucky you are to have them. ginny xx
Hello sweetie...I just bought some vintage decorations at a car boot and I am trying to find an arty way of displaying...yours remind me of being a little girl...I bet my mum got rid of them......love and big hugs from a very cold Yorkshire...Polly and I are trimming up the house on saturday...
Oh that's such a coincidence! I took some photos yesterday of some of my Mum's old ornaments - they are very similar to yours! Amazing to think that some even came from my grandmother and survived the Blitz in Manchester! Willow x
I think this is right up your street. You know I did the Sarah Smith bunting idea well they have come up with a Lavenderhouse Challenge. Check my post for full details. I bet you could come up with some cracking uses for their products - you know one of your lovely clip boards or something.

ReplyDeleteLovely, I remember my mum having some of the hollowed out ones and the santas are so cute.

The box of Christmas decorations always evokes such memories when it comes down from the attic yet another wonderful thing about Christmas.
ReplyDeleteMy mum still has a handful of the decorations we had as children too including the fairy dolls dressed by my sister & I.
ReplyDeleteI remember my Mum having the hollowed out baubles. They were among my favourite. I also remember the 'honeycomb' style of decorations!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing like the real thing and these vintage baubles are the best!
ReplyDeleteI love the little snowman..

These are lovely Sal. Especially like the pointy one. I have a few vintage ones but they are so delicate, most have been broken :(

Gosh a bit more nostalgia, we had Christmas baubles just like those when we were little. I'll have to ask my mum if she still has any of them.
ReplyDeleteI love your tours! I'd like to sit down in that cafe and have tea! How fun!
ReplyDeleteVery fun. Thank you for sharing!!!
