Vintage Christmas remnants, from my childhood!

All that remains! My mum passed these to me yesterday. The rest have simply shattered, over the years.

And don't you just love these?!
They are a little newer, 70s/80s, but nevertheless I was delighted when they came my way.

  4. The box of Christmas decorations always evokes such memories when it comes down from the attic yet another wonderful thing about Christmas.

  6. I remember my Mum having the hollowed out baubles. They were among my favourite. I also remember the 'honeycomb' style of decorations!

  9. Oh that's such a coincidence! I took some photos yesterday of some of my Mum's old ornaments - they are very similar to yours! Amazing to think that some even came from my grandmother and survived the Blitz in Manchester!

  11. These are lovely Sal. Especially like the pointy one. I have a few vintage ones but they are so delicate, most have been broken :(

  12. Hello again!

I think this is right up your street. You know I did the Sarah Smith bunting idea well they have come up with a Lavenderhouse Challenge. Check my post for full details. I bet you could come up with some cracking uses for their products - you know one of your lovely clip boards or something.

  13. Gosh a bit more nostalgia, we had Christmas baubles just like those when we were little. I'll have to ask my mum if she still has any of them.
