iphone saves Devon gal indecision... and fans!

Part One
So there I was, this morning , standing in W.H.Smith, with this in my hand (exhibit A above)..deliberating!
Should I gamble and buy it there 'n then or should I wait until I get home... and take a look at Amazon's price?
I spent 10 minutes trying to decide because I really wanted it there 'n then!! ;-)

At this point, the ghost of Mr Snippets whispers in my ear ,' What on earth did I buy you that b***** iphone for?'

I laughed to myself ... found a quiet corner...and left the store empty handed (half price on Amazon!! Even cheaper on The Book People!!)

Part Two ...

This is where I need serious help!!
It's my wedding anniversary soon and having been asked what I would like, I've finally decided!
But which colour/design?!!!!

So...Which would you choose?
I favour the blue ...or red..but then again...!!

Part three!

Tuesday crafting is back, which makes me happy!! This week, we made 'fan' cards.

Although I was a little 'fragile' on Tuesday, I got stuck in!

Apologies,my photos are poor due to the tears on the camera lens !! But they actually look quite pretty. (The cards I mean, not the tears!)

Have a great weekend ;-)

hi Sal, I'm catching up on a few of your I have a lump in my throat..its a mother thing..I know, we are all wusses, even for other peoples kids! I'm lucky that mine goes to college at the end of the road or maybe that should read 'unlucky' when I come home to piles of lunchtime washing up! I'm sure the traveling will whizz past and he'll be home in a flash full of stories that will make your hair curl no doubt! Anyway..I've pre-ordered my Cath kidston book from can always rely on them for the bargains! It looks good, hope it is and as for the bags..oh decisions! I love the red too, hmmm or maybe the green? x

Love the red one and the green spotted one. As it is your anniversary couldn't you have both? Also love the fan cards. The two on end look like butterflies which leads me to think that there is another craft afternoon there - making butterflies.

I went to the CK shop with the intension of buying the Green spotty one (Which I do still love and will probably buy also), but then thought how much more the brown would go with with alot of huffing and puffing I bought the brown one and I'm so pleased...I goes with SO much and have had lots of comments. They're all beautiful though, I'm sure whichever you decide on you'll be pleased with.

Hmm the blue one would go with lots of my stuff yet the red one would make a statement.

I'd have to toss a coin!

I really must be out of sorts if I didn't even know about the new CK book!!!! When I got my new CK birthday bag it took me ages to choose, I love my green spotty one but I also really loved the blue one, hard decisions indeed!!

Shall I rock the boat? I quite like the last one - the beigey background. Now if the polka dots had been on red... That's a different story. :o)
The fans are lovely. So pretty.
Yay! Well done for use of iPhone and Mr Snippet's wisdom. And of course for Amazon.

I would buy you the red one
AND the green one
THEN the blue one
I wouldn't want the brown one to be lonely SO...!!!

They remind me of you - Bags of fun

The red most definitely. Chin up, I know how you feel, but you have to let them spread their wings and fly. Generally they're like homing pigeons and sooner or later end up flying home.

What is the book like *inside*? I've seen it advertised but I like to look inside books before I buy them!

I vote for the red bag ....or maybe the stone coloured one...or perhaps....

The red bag is gorgeous, the spotty one is so pretty but I guess the beige one would be more practical for matching to clothes etc. What a choice! As it is a special treat, go on - Red! The fan cards are great:)

Get the red one. Then the green spotty one for Christmas. Sorted.

Simone said...

Sal, you NEED a bag for each season. The brown is very now, the red would be great for Christmas, the blue for spring and the green for summer! I love the fan cards and am glad that the Tuesday craft group is up and running again! I hope you're not missing your son too much. My ten year old 'baby' went away for a week with the school last week and I couldn't stop thinking about him. He had a super time though and said he wanted to stay!!!

I love the red purse! But I also love the polka dot and the gray with pink and red roses....I'm no help.
Your son is so handsome and seems so sweet. I am sure he is off having a grand adventure. You did a very good job Mom! I know it's hard to let them go but he'll be back and you will enjoy the man he has become.

Ohhh, I'm getting a little weepy for you! My kids are in high school now and I know that what you are going through right now is right around the corner for us! *sniffle*.

OMGoodness, how do you choose?!! lol The red one is my favorite, but I would probably try and be more practical and go with the brown or the blue--while secretly wishing I had the guts to choose the red one! They are all gorgeous though, and I'm sure you will be happy with whichever one you choose.

Happy Anniversary!

Smiles, Karen

Personally I like the blue one, and reading all the comments I don't think your choice is going to any easier.
I've just caught up on all your previous posts and had a tear in my eye reading about Nich. Five weeks will fly by and you'll be able to take him back to Exeter for a cuppa (or pint) and catch up!

Hi Sal,

Decisions , decisions. I do like the green polka dot one, but they are all so gorgeous!!. I love the fan cards too. I have ordered the Cath Kidston make book off Amazon about 35 days before its official launch date! and it hasnt come yet(I am not impatient!!!)
I bet that was hard saying goodbye to your son, hope you are ok now. I know it must feel strange

Well done Sal for practising such restraint...I am not sure I would have had such willpower!
Now.. colours.. I have coveted the browny beige version of the CK bag ever since I spotted it in the local CK shop window.. I think that is where it will stay unless Mr Custard has a rash of generosity...
Could be a long wait!
