Looks like not much activity is happening here, is it due to moving away from Bickington?
This blog is charming, I so love to read real-life experiences and personal stories of villagers in my area. I live in Ashburton, but one day I might choose a smaller village to live, out of reach of the A38 traffic noise. This part of Devon is great for both seaside visit, walks along the coastal footpath and exploring of the Moors and South Hams' rivers like the Tavy with its woodland and the Plym flowing along Bere Alston and Calstock, plus the beautiful estuaries of Dartmouth and Salcombe. The Steam train whistles through this green and lush part of Devon as well, offering transport for tourists and commuters both. Since I left The Netherlands in 2015, I've found my 2nd home in this part of Devon. Although there's still far more of Britain that I haven't visited, yet. Thank you for a beautiful blog!Devon https://www.blogger.com/profile/04344406003800611861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2772532068403786265.post-80500260541770042192011-07-01T10:59:28.297+01:002011-07-01T10:59:28.297+01:00In all the years I've lived in Devon I've ...In all the years I've lived in Devon I've only been in Bickington village once, way back in 1960. I was part of a Torbay Youth Group who went on a student exchange to Germany and one of the chaps in the group lived in Bickington and while the German students were over here he and his parents held a party in their home for us all.
Margaret Pgalanthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14190356279359463949noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2772532068403786265.post-67318264019528357952011-06-30T19:45:21.359+01:002011-06-30T19:45:21.359+01:00Devon has so many of these wonderful villages.
