Hellebores...

This is the time when the Hellebores come into

their own, in the garden.

And I have certainly reaped the benefit of planting these

beauties a few years ago. They are simply lovely.

For instance, take this beauty, above...Double Ellen White Spotted...

          ...a stunner!

          And not forgetting the pinks...

I think these are all from the Ellen collection.

Finally, the Hellebore that most of us know...Helleborus Niger..

      the Christmas Rose.

It’s a real treat when the Hellebores come into bloom.

I think I definitely need to add some new varieties to my small collection!

The new notebook...

Oh I do love a notebook..especially
a new one!

And so when this package arrived last week
I was delighted to open it up and find...
a new notebook.

But this wasn’t any old notebook...oh no!

It had been beautifully handmade with lovely paper inside

                  the back and front covers.

So, I’ve been pondering.... what to do with this lovely book

as I didn’t want to use it for anything ordinary, like shopping lists etc...

‘Garden’ jumped out at me...it’s my main interest and I suddenly

remembered that I had a lovely card, made by my daughter...

       The cover...sorted...

And then I thought further...I know, I have a spare

Emily Sutton allotment calendar.. so I counted the pages in the book

and made a section for each month.

       Job done!

I am delighted with my notebook....thank you so much

to my friend, Lesley, for sending me such a lovely surprise!  😁
